ABOUT

The Global Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Conference 2025 is not just another conference – it’s a catalyst for action. Taking place 5-7 November 2025 in Brasília, Brazil, this event brings together scientists, policymakers, investors, and businesses to shape the future of food and agriculture ahead of COP30.

With a strong science-based foundation and a business-unusual approach, the conference will spark collaborations, forge commitments, and accelerate real-world solutions for climate-smart agriculture and food systems.

BACKGROUND

Since its inception in 2010, Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) has been a key approach to tackling food security and climate challenges. The Global CSA Science Conferences have consistently served as a leading platform for scientific exchange, policy dialogue, and innovation.

Global CSA Science Conference Timeline

After a five-year absence, this conference marks 15 years since the term CSA was coined, making it a pivotal moment to reflect on lessons learned and accelerate climate action in agriculture.
