As part of the Global Climate-Smart Agriculture Conference, researchers have the opportunity to contribute to a special research topic in the journal Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems: “Generating Lessons from 15 years of Climate-Smart Agriculture: New Frontiers for Research and Action”
This Research Topic will consolidate and build on the knowledge shared at the conference, helping to inform global efforts toward more resilient, productive, and climate-resilient food and agriculture systems.
Please note: Submission is open only to researchers who have been formally invited to present their work at the conference.

- Apply for a limited fee waiver through the CSA Conference organization team.
We have a limited amount of funds to support authors who:
- Are from or based in a Lower- or Middle-Income Country
View eligible countries - Are early-stage career researchers
- Are able to submit their full manuscript by the 11 January 2026 deadline
- Are from or based in a Lower- or Middle-Income Country

- A short motivation note (max. 400 words) explaining how you meet the criteria and why you should be considered for the waiver
Note: Funding support will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to eligible applicants, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
