Soil Health Brazil Platform
The Soil Health Brazil Platform is the world’s first national, publicly accessible system for monitoring soil health. Built on Embrapa’s Soil Bioanalysis Technology (BioAS), it integrates biological indicators such as soil enzymes (arylsulfatase and β-glucosidase) with chemical data into interactive maps at the municipal level. With more than 55,000 samples from 1,400 municipalities and partnerships with 33 laboratories, it hosts the world’s largest soil health database, transforming scattered results into a dynamic tool for farmers, researchers, and policymakers.
At the booth, participants will be able to:
- Explore interactive soil health maps and datasets in real time,
- Understand how biological indicators act as early-warning signals of soil degradation,
- Learn how the platform supports climate-smart agriculture, public policies, and low-carbon food systems.

FORI Project – INNOVA ECOVIDA
Innovation is born in the field, strengthened through cooperation, and multiplied through shared knowledge.
The FORI Project – Farmers’ Organizations for Research and Innovation is a global initiative present in 17 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific, which strengthens the role of farmers in creating agroecological solutions to address climate and production challenges. At FORI, those who plant also research. Farmers are no longer just beneficiaries of research, but become researchers, innovators, and agents of change.
In Latin America, the project is structured around three integrated areas of action:
Action research and co-innovation
Based on a territorial approach and the Campesino&campesino or co-innovation methodology, promoting real and collaborative experimentation.
Training and Knowledge Management
Courses, exchanges, and teaching materials created by the farmers themselves and allied organizations.
Collaborative Governance and Political Coordination
Strengthening agroecology in Latin America and Mercosul, with the active participation of Cresol Agri-agency and COPROFAM.
INNOVA ECOVIDA Platform
Each published story represents a step in the collective construction of agroecological knowledge, combining technique, practice, and cooperation.
One of the innovations of this project is the use of the digital environment to disseminate the results. In Brazil and Uruguay, this force comes to life in the INNOVA ECOVIDA Platform – a digital and collaborative space where farmers, researchers, and cooperatives learn, experiment, and innovate together.
