Ana Carolina Zimmermann is a Brazilian farmer from the Cerrado region and a 2022 Nuffield International Scholar, researching how to position Brazil globally as an agro-environmental powerhouse. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Brasília and specializes in Project Management and Agribusiness at USP/ESALQ.
Ana is an executive at Charrua, an agricultural input distributor, and at JLS Agro, a grain and cattle production group, where she leads strategic planning and project development. She also serves as Chairwoman of the Board at JLS Agro, contributing to long-term governance and innovation in the agri-food sector.
She was awarded the Sebrae Goiás Women in Business Award and was recognized in Forbes Under 30 Agribusiness (2024). Ana has represented Brazilian youth at international forums such as the FAO Committee on Food Security, COP 28, and the Sustainable Livestock Transformation Event.
She is a member of the CNA’s National Committee for New Leaderships, an NGIN Ambassador, and an alumna of the World Farmers’ Organisation Gymnasium Program.
