Camila Ester Hollas

Camila Ester Hollas is an Environmental Engineer who graduated (2015) from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), with a master’s degree (2018) and doctorate (2022) in Agricultural Engineering from the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE). She develops activities aimed at mitigating environmental impacts, with experience in the management and treatment of wastewater and animal production waste. She has conducted research on biological nitrogen removal and the energy use of organic waste through the production of biogas and biomethane, with an emphasis on the life cycle assessment of treatment systems. He currently collaborates with Instituto 17 on initiatives to quantify environmental impacts and on studies related to sustainability and the circular economy, in addition to contributing to technical solutions aimed at the sustainable use of waste.
