Chris Chilcott

Chris Chilcott has over 25 years of experience in the environmental and agricultural sector. He has worked in natural resource management spanning research, industry development, and policy. Most recently he had worked in water related development, livestock industries rangeland management and assisting in the establishment of the Darwin Living Lab. Chris leads CSIRO’s work on developing Northern Australia based at the Darwin laboratory. CSIRO Environment examines the increasing pressures facing our natural and built environments from the combined effects of climate change, extreme events, non-sustainable use of natural resources and legacy activities. It hosts Australia’s national capability to observe and model our atmosphere and oceans and develop our earth system models to address climate change and emission reduction challenges, and the science to support adaption and mitigation.
