Heris Coutinho is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Brasília (UnB), specializing in Agricultural and Environmental Economics. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, with an emphasis on Quantitative Methods and Markets (MQM), from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), a specialization in International Relations from UnB with studies in International Politics and China’s International Relations, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Currently, he works as an analyst in economic and accounting prospecting at the Center for the Support of Technological Development (CDT/UnB). His professional background includes financial consulting and investment analysis. His research examines the economic and environmental impacts of climate change, with a focus on sustainable development, natural resource economics, and the role of renewable energy in Brazil.
