Imelda Bacudo is a Climate, Agriculture, and Food Systems Leader with over 25 years of global experience advancing sustainable agriculture and climate resilience. She co-founded the ASEAN Climate Resilience Network and helped establish the ASEAN Negotiating Group for Agriculture under the UNFCCC. As part of the COP28 Presidency team, she was instrumental in developing the landmark COP28 Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems and Climate Action. Imelda has led initiatives with FAO, ASEAN, and international partners to unlock climate finance, promote climate-smart agriculture, and ensure farmers’ voices shape policy. She is passionate about translating global climate commitments into grassroots action.
