Katja Vuori is the Chief Executive Officer of AgriCord, a global alliance of 13 agri-agencies mandated by farmers’ organisations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. With over two decades of experience in international development, rural transformation, and farmers’ empowerment, she leads AgriCord’s mission to strengthen farmers’ organisations through peer-to-peer cooperation and strategic partnerships. Katja has worked extensively on sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and inclusive innovation, and is a strong advocate for ensuring farmers’ voices and leadership are central in global policy processes on climate, biodiversity, and food systems.
