Rosemery dos Santos
Rosemery Alesandra Firmino dos Santos holds a degree in Agronomy (2018) from the Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro Brasileira (UNILAB), a Master’s in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (2020) from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), and a PhD in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (2025) from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP). She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow (PDJ) at the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) for Low Carbon Agriculture (ABC), associated with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Her research interests focus on soil carbon sequestration in agricultural and pasture systems, with emphasis on the mechanisms of soil organic matter stabilization and the interactions between soil carbon and microorganisms.
