She has a MSc in Sustainable Land Management from Wageningen University and a BSc in Earth, Energy and Sustainability from Leiden University. Her background is in environmental science, soil health and policy, with research focused on landscape ecology and ecosystem services in relation to land use management. She previously worked in Kenya on sustainable rangeland management approaches tailored to arid contexts with a focus on strengthening livelihood resilience to climate change. Her interests include land use sustainability, GIS applications, and the role of agroforestry systems in advancing climate-adapted agriculture.
